Saudi Stock Index Closes Lower at 10,716 Points with Trading Volume of 2.3 Billion Riyals
The main Saudi stock index closed lower by 3.46 points, settling at 10,716.82 points, with trading value reaching 2.3 billion riyals.
The trading volume reached 130 million shares, according to the daily economic bulletin of the Saudi Press Agency, during which shares of 65 companies rose in value, while shares of 190 companies declined.
Shares of companies Madinah Knowledge, Inaya, Amak, Al-Etihad, and Saleh Al-Rashed were the top gainers, while shares of Rasen, Simasco, Thimar, Maharah, and Saudi Reinsurance topped the losers' list, with gains and losses ranging between 3.60% and 9.99%.
In terms of activity, shares of Petro Rabigh, Americana, Saudi Aramco, Madinah Knowledge, and Maharah ranked first by volume, while shares of Petro Rabigh, Al Rajhi, Saudi Aramco, Bahri, and Red Sea topped the list by value.
In contrast, the Saudi parallel stock index (Nomu) closed lower by 82.98 points, reaching 22,156.33 points, with trading value of 13 million riyals and a share volume exceeding 1.7 million shares.
