Saudi Stock Index Closes Lower at 10,801 Points with Trading Volume of 4 Billion Riyals
The main Saudi stock index closed lower by 17.27 points today, settling at 10,801.71 points, with trading value reaching 4 billion riyals.
The volume of traded shares reached 201 million, according to the daily economic bulletin of the Saudi Press Agency, during which shares of 129 companies rose in value, while shares of 128 companies declined.
Shares of Al Etihad, Emaar, Al Taameer, MBC Group, and Petro Rabigh were the top gainers, while shares of Canadian Medical Center, Al Sorayai, Raydan, Alkharia, and Enaya topped the list of losers, with gains and losses ranging between 4.51% and 10%.
In terms of activity, shares of Americana, Petro Rabigh, Al Sorayai, Saudi Aramco, and Maharah led in volume, while shares of Al Rajhi, Raydan, Saudi Aramco, Petro Rabigh, and Al Asmak topped the most active list by value.
In the parallel market, the Nomu index closed lower by 15.25 points, reaching 22,539.59 points, with trading value of 12 million riyals and a share volume exceeding 1.5 million shares.
