Saudi Stock Market Index Closes Higher at 10,804 Points

The main Saudi stock market index closed higher on Wednesday, rising by 28.65 points to reach 10,804.11 points, with trading value reaching 4 billion riyals.
The daily economic bulletin of the Saudi Press Agency stated that the volume of traded shares reached 178 million shares, with shares of 130 companies rising, while shares of 121 companies declined.
Shares of Electrical Industries, Care, Ataa, Al Fakhiriah, and Elm led the list of the highest gainers, while shares of Raoum, Dar Al Arkan, Jamjoom Pharma, Fourth Milling Company, and Jarir were the most declined during the trading session. The change rates ranged between a 9.93% increase and a 4.43% decrease.
As for the most active shares by volume, shares of Saudi Aramco, Electrical Industries, Petro Rabigh, Americana, and Saudi Arabia's Darb topped the list. In terms of value, shares of Saudi Aramco, Al Rajhi, Al Ahli, Electrical Industries, and Petro Rabigh led.
Parallel Market Index Rises
In the same context, the Saudi Parallel Market Index (Nomu) closed higher by 42.42 points, reaching the level of 22,072.85 points, with trades worth 5.3 million riyals and a traded volume exceeding 951 thousand shares.
