The main Saudi stock market index, TASI, ended Wednesday's trading up 0.7% at 10,775 points, with trading volume reaching 3.7 billion riyals.

According to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) website, the volume of traded shares reached about 167.6 million shares, with a market value of 9.5 trillion riyals.

Shares of 160 companies rise

Shares of 160 companies rose by the end of today's trading, while 93 declined, out of 270 companies listed on the main market.

Parallel Market

The parallel market index, Nomu, closed today down 0.7% at 22,030 points, with trading volume reaching 6.6 million riyals. The volume of traded shares reached about 1.2 million shares, while the market value reached about 38.3 billion riyals. Shares of 26 companies declined by the end of today's trading, while 20 rose, out of 126 companies listed on the parallel market.
