The General Authority of Ports signed today 7 agreements to establish logistics centers in Jeddah with investments totaling 1 billion riyals, aiming to support logistics services, enhance economic value, and provide job opportunities, during the opening ceremony of the truck marshalling project.
The agreements included signing two agreements with JD.com, the first to establish an integrated logistics center to support digital logistics and re-export services in Al-Khumra area, and the second to establish a logistics center to support handling, storage, and distribution activities.
The authority also signed an agreement with Maersk to expand the company's logistics center, along with an agreement with Jadir to establish an integrated logistics center for storage services, and an agreement with Masdar to establish an integrated logistics center that supports handling, storage, and distribution.
The agreements also included the establishment of an integrated logistics center with Shatri Store to support import, export, and logistics services, in addition to an agreement with Al-Gharb (West Group) to establish a logistics center to support commercial activities and maritime services.
