The General Authority for Statistics published the real estate price index for the second quarter of 2026, revealing varying increases in the main sector indicators, led by the agricultural sector at 11.3%, followed by the commercial sector at 3.2%, and then the residential sector at 2.6%.

The index data showed a 6.3% increase in residential land prices, a 1.1% rise in apartment prices, along with a 0.4% increase in residential floor prices, compared to a 9.7% decline in villa prices.

These indicators reflect the continued divergence in real estate price movements across different sectors and uses, with residential land remaining one of the most prominent influencers on the performance of the residential sector during the second quarter of the year.

The authority confirmed that the publication of the real estate price index is part of its periodic statistical products, aimed at monitoring developments in the real estate market and supporting decision-makers, investors, and interested parties with accurate data on price trends in the Kingdom.
