Stocks Drop 17 Points: 4 Billion in Trading
The main Saudi stock index fell 17 points today to reach 10,801 points, with trading volume valued at 4 billion riyals.
The volume of traded shares reached 201 million shares, according to the daily economic bulletin of the Saudi Press Agency for the Saudi stock market, with shares of 129 companies rising in value while shares of 128 companies fell.
Highest increases
Shares of companies Al-Ettihad, Emaar, Tanmia, MBC Group, and Petro Rabigh were the highest gainers, while shares of Canadian Medical Center, Export, Rasen, Al-Fakhriyah, and Care were the biggest losers in trading, with gains and losses ranging between 10% and 4.51%. Shares of Americana, Petro Rabigh, Export, Saudi Aramco, and Maharah were the most active by volume, while shares of Al-Rajhi, Rasen, Saudi Aramco, Petro Rabigh, and Al-Asmak were the most active by value.
The parallel market index (NOMU) closed down 15 points today to reach 22,539 points, with trading volume valued at 12 million riyals, and the volume of traded shares exceeded 1.5 million shares.
