Talal bin Fouad Al-Hamoud expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may God preserve them - on the occasion of the issuance of the royal order appointing him as Deputy Governor of the Saudi Central Bank for Technical Affairs at the excellent rank.

Al-Hamoud expressed his pride in the royal confidence, asking God Almighty to help him fulfill this responsibility and grant him success in dedicating his efforts and expertise to serving the religion, the King, and the nation, and to contribute to supporting the Saudi Central Bank's progress and achieving its objectives.

Al-Hamoud holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in Canada.

He has over 16 years of banking experience at the Saudi Central Bank, having held the position of Assistant Governor for Monetary Affairs since February 2024, and prior to that, he served as Deputy Governor for Investment from 2022 to 2024.

He also held a number of leadership positions at the bank, including: Director of the Reserves Department between 2017 and 2022, Director of the External Fixed Income Division from 2013 to 2017, and Acting Director of the Fixed Income and Alternatives Division from 2011 to 2013. He began his career at the central bank in 2009 as an investment analyst.

Al-Hamoud serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Fund for Development, in addition to chairing and serving on several specialized committees at the Saudi Central Bank, drawing on extensive experience in monetary policy, reserve management, and investment.
