Tihama Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing Company (TAPRCO) said on Thursday its ordinary general meeting turned down a recommendation to remove board member Saleh Ghadeer Al-Rasheed. The proposal had been put forward following the board's advice under Article 6(h) of the Companies Law implementing regulations for listed joint-stock firms. In addition, shareholders endorsed the board's earlier appointment of Abdullah Muneef Al Muneef as an independent director, effective Jan. 26, 2026, to fill the seat left by former independent board member Abdulaziz Abdulrahman Al-Ammar.
Tihama Advertising is a Saudi company listed on the Tadawul stock exchange, specializing in advertising, public relations, and marketing services.
The rejection of the removal proposal indicates shareholder confidence in the current board composition. The appointment of Al Muneef as an independent director fills a vacancy and aligns with corporate governance requirements. The new board member's term runs until November 26, 2027, sharing the term of the existing board. Such decisions are routine under Saudi corporate law and reflect the company's adherence to regulatory standards.
