Saudi Arabia's merchandise imports fell to about 75.7 billion riyals in April 2026, down 5% year-on-year, but up 27% month-on-month, according to data from the General Authority for Statistics. Machinery, mechanical appliances, electrical equipment, and parts thereof accounted for 33% of total imports, followed by vehicles, aircraft, vessels, and associated transport equipment at 10%. China was the top source, contributing 29% of imports.

Saudi Arabia's merchandise imports fell to about 75.7 billion riyals in April 2026, down 5% compared to the same period in 2025.
Compared to last March, Saudi imports of goods rose by about 16.2 billion riyals, or 27%, according to data from the General Authority for Statistics.
Machinery, mechanical appliances, electrical equipment, and parts thereof accounted for 33% of total imports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia last April, with a value of 25.2 billion riyals, followed by vehicles, aircraft, vessels, and similar transport equipment at about 10%.
