Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ihab Abu Srie', affirmed that Egyptian-Saudi relations represent a model of strategic Arab partnership, and are currently witnessing one of their best eras, thanks to the support and shared vision of the leaderships of both countries.

This came during the reception hosted by the Egyptian Embassy in Riyadh on the evening of Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at the Culture Palace in the Diplomatic Quarter, on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the July 23, 1952 Revolution, in the presence of Prince Faisal bin Ayyaf, Mayor of Riyadh Region, and a number of Their Royal Highnesses and Excellencies, senior officials, heads of diplomatic missions, media figures, and prominent members of the Egyptian community in the Kingdom.

Ambassador Ihab Abu Srie' said in his speech that the July 23 Revolution represents a shining historical milestone in the march of the modern Egyptian state, as it contributed to consolidating the values of independence and national sovereignty, and had a significant impact on the national liberation movement in the Arab region and the African continent, and supported the right of peoples to self-determination and building their independent states.

He added that Egypt, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, continues to play its pivotal role in supporting regional security and stability, defending Arab causes, and enhancing cooperation with sisterly and friendly countries, based on its historical responsibility and regional standing.

The Ambassador pointed out that Egyptian-Saudi relations are deep-rooted historical relations, based on mutual respect and unity of vision towards various regional and international issues, stressing that Cairo and Riyadh represent a fundamental pillar of Arab national security, and that continuous coordination between the two countries contributes to facing the challenges witnessed in the region.

He explained that the development of bilateral relations in the political, economic, investment, and cultural fields reflects the joint will of the leaderships of both countries, represented by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in support of the development march and achieving the interests of the two brotherly peoples.

At the conclusion of his speech, the Egyptian Ambassador extended a tribute to the Kingdom, leadership and people, for the care and attention that the Egyptian community receives, expressing his pride in the depth of the fraternal relations that unite the two peoples, and affirming that this historical partnership will continue to grow in various fields in the coming years.

The reception witnessed a wide official, diplomatic, and media presence, in an atmosphere that reflected the strength of relations between the two countries, and their keenness to continue the march of cooperation and coordination in a way that serves common interests and enhances security and stability in the region.
