Al Riyadh defeated its Romanian counterpart Politehnica by a clean sheet in the friendly match that brought them together today, Friday, as part of its preparations for the new season during its current camp in Austria.

The only goal of the match for Al Riyadh was scored by Mamadou Silla, as the coaching staff tried to involve as many players as possible to assess their readiness and identify areas that need improvement.

Al Riyadh is expected to play a second friendly match during its camp in Austria on either July 22 or 23, but the opponent has not yet been decided.

The team will conclude its friendlies on July 27 against Qatari club Al-Gharafa, in a match to be held in the Austrian city of Korneuburg.
