In a dramatic night that mobilized security services in the city of Mohammedia in Morocco, police arrested the famous Algerian Rai singer Rida Taliani, on suspicion of involvement in a horrific traffic accident while in a state of extreme intoxication.

The incident, which required the intervention of the anti-gang squad and the traffic department, witnessed a state of high tension after the artist refused to comply with security services and refused to hand over his driving documents.

Local media revealed that the artist appeared in a state of severe confusion and remained silent for several hours, refusing to respond to security personnel, while field teams secured the accident scene and assessed the material damage.

The accident resulted in a companion of the singer being transported by ambulance to the regional hospital for treatment, while the artist was transported in a police car after he absolutely refused to enter the ambulance.

During the search of the vehicle, security teams found several bottles of alcoholic beverages inside the car, leading to his detention behind bars at the judicial police station by direct order of the public prosecutor.

Surprisingly, this incident is not the first on the artist's record; he was previously arrested in 2020 in the same city for driving under the influence of alcohol, causing a traffic accident, and assaulting a resident, as investigations await what they will reveal and whether he will be referred to trial while in custody.
