(CNN)-- After weeks of absence and a long 14-hour trip, a family reunion at Dubai International Airport turned into an unforgettable emotional moment.

What happened?

When American content creator Talin Khanoyan returned from the United States with her two daughters, she told them that their father would not be able to pick them up due to work circumstances. But the truth was quite different, as she had pre-arranged with her husband to wait for them in the arrivals hall. There, Khanoyan's husband Rafael surprised all his family members by appearing dressed as the superhero 'Superman.' (Watch the video above)

The American content creator, who is of Armenian descent, said in an interview with CNN Arabic: 'The first thing that came to my mind was: who is this man wearing this costume? And why does he look familiar? Then I realized it was my husband.'

As for the two girls, they started laughing and screaming at the same time.

Regarding the reason for choosing the character 'Superman,' Khanoyan explained that her two daughters consider their father a 'superhero.'

Earlier, the younger daughter had a terrifying accident that required her to be taken to the hospital, and although she was only two years old, she still remembers how her father rushed to help her.

The American content creator added: 'I think my two daughters felt at that moment that they could rely on him for everything.'

She explained: 'He has always been spontaneous and loves to attract attention in a showy way, and this is one of the qualities I love about him.. He proposed to me publicly at Los Angeles Airport in 2013.. It seems we have a special connection to airports.'

Khanoyan concluded her speech by saying: 'I think today, more than ever, we need more moments that spread joy and create beautiful memories like this one.'
