Jasft Organizes Evening 'Media and Plastic Arts' Next Saturday

The Saudi Society for Fine Arts continues its distinguished steps towards elevating the artistic and cultural scene in the Kingdom, announcing the return of its prominent cultural program 'Al-Liwan', which comes from the core of the Society's cultural project, affirming its ongoing commitment to creating qualitative dialogue spaces that enrich the plastic arts movement and build bridges of communication between artists and society.

A Major Cultural Evening.. Media and Plastic Arts

At the outset of this return, the Society invites all interested parties, intellectuals, and art lovers to attend the major cultural evening titled: 'Media and Plastic Arts: A Partnership Creating Awareness and Visual Culture', to be held next Saturday, July 25, 2026 (corresponding to 11 Safar 1448 AH), from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM, at the AV Gallery Hall - Al-Mousa Complex (Gate 3, First Floor) - Riyadh.

It sheds light on the pivotal role that media plays in various forms in highlighting plastic creativity, and how the media message can contribute to building and deepening visual culture among the recipient, ultimately creating a societal awareness of the value of fine art.

An Elite Group of Thought and Media Pioneers

Participating in enriching the themes of this evening is an elite group of prominent cultural and media figures in the Kingdom: colleague Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Nasser, Cultural Affairs Editor at 'Al-Riyadh' newspaper, Dr. Hisham Maghrabi, academic and graphic design specialist, Mr. Fahd Al-Barqan, media figure and program presenter.

Meanwhile, the media figure and intellectual Ms. Fahda Al-Dosari will moderate the dialogue, ensuring an interactive session rich with inspiring visions and ideas.

The evening will cover a set of important themes that integrate media and artistic aspects, including: media and plastic arts, visual culture and societal awareness, partnerships to support the plastic artist, cultural media and artistic content production.

A New Phase of Institutional Excellence

This event coincides with a golden phase the Society is experiencing, which recently culminated in the launch of its new visual identity in an official ceremony reflecting the digital transformation and institutional excellence journey adopted by the Society to develop its administrative and financial structure, and build a highly efficient professional model. This developmental step aims to support the Saudi plastic arts movement and serve more than 3,000 male and female artists distributed across various regions of the Kingdom, paving the way for a promising and bright future for visual arts in our generous homeland.
