Jeddah - SPA:
Walking paths and green spaces spread across neighborhoods of Jeddah Governorate and its waterfronts are witnessing wide turnout from residents and visitors, who find in them a healthy and diverse outlet for exercise and spending enjoyable times during the summer vacation season, in safe and equipped environments that integrate with quality of life goals and Saudi Vision 2030. These paths, established by Jeddah Municipality, provide aesthetic elements and integrated services including lighting, benches, rest points, and green spaces, in addition to their connection to residential neighborhoods, public parks, and recreational facilities; enhancing the experience of visitors and allowing them to engage in sports and leisure activities simultaneously.

Jeddah Municipality explained that the establishment of recreational facilities comes within projects aimed at raising the welfare level of residents, encouraging sports and recreational practices, and supporting the concept of healthy cities, pointing out that their locations were carefully chosen on waterfronts and major parks in the governorate such as Prince Majid Park and Al-Saja Park, in addition to investing in open spaces and transforming them into vibrant urban destinations.
SPA observed the contribution of these recreational and sports sites in attracting visitors during the Jeddah Summer 2026 season, as they allow them to combine exercise with enjoying nature and recreational activities, within an integrated urban environment that reflects the municipality's ongoing efforts to improve quality of life and provide public facilities that meet the needs of all community segments.
