Jeddah's beach resorts boost tourism and quality of life on the Red Sea coast
Jeddah is one of the most prominent coastal tourist destinations in the Kingdom, benefiting from its location on a coastal strip along the Red Sea and hosting a diverse range of tourist resorts.
A report indicated that most resorts are concentrated in northern Jeddah, particularly along Abhur Bay, offering private beaches, residential and hotel units, marinas for yachts, as well as facilities for water sports, diving, and recreational activities suitable for individuals and families.
The report noted that these resorts contribute to boosting domestic tourism and attracting visitors from within the Kingdom and abroad, through integrated hospitality services, entertainment programs, and diverse marine experiences, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to develop the tourism sector and increase its contribution to the national economy.
Investment expansion and advanced services
In the same context, Jeddah has witnessed in recent years an expansion in tourism investments and the development of facilities and services, strengthening its position as a major marine destination on the Red Sea coast, especially with the increasing number of visitors during holidays and tourist seasons.
