Al-Baha, 03 Safar 1448 AH corresponding to July 17, 2026 AD (SPA) - Al-Tharwat National Park in Al-Qura Governorate has strengthened its position as one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the Al-Baha region, attracting visitors to the Al-Baha Summer Season 2026 with its unique natural features, strategic location, and recreational and service facilities that enrich the visitor experience. The park, developed and prepared by the Municipality of Al-Qura Governorate, is located about 31 kilometers north of Al-Baha city and extends over an area of more than 128,000 square meters, including over 19,000 square meters of green spaces, along with 850 trees that give the site a natural character enhancing its appeal. The park features an open-air theater with a capacity of about 600 people, a children's theater with a capacity exceeding 150 people, in addition to 30 children's games, 30 seating areas for visitors, and 12 service facilities, designed in harmony with the nature of the site and to enhance the experience of its patrons. The park also includes 17 umbrellas distributed throughout the site, four restroom facilities for men and women, an integrated lighting system, sports facilities, and designated children's play areas, providing a suitable environment for families and picnickers. Development work continues in the park with the implementation of an upper road offering panoramic views of the surrounding nature, expansion of umbrellas and seating areas, in addition to the construction of a road providing a direct view of Wadi Bida Dam, a step aimed at enhancing the park's features and increasing its attractiveness as one of the most prominent tourist parks in Al-Qura Governorate.
