Taif, Muharram 25, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 10, 2026, SPA - The Taif Municipality has enhanced the readiness of more than 120 parks, gardens, municipal squares, and walking tracks, distributed across various parts of the governorate and tourist sites, as part of its operational plan for the summer season of 2026; with the aim of providing an integrated recreational environment for residents and visitors, and raising the efficiency of municipal services in tourist destinations. It explained that it implemented comprehensive programs for maintenance, operation, and cleaning, and raised the readiness of public facilities and support services, including open sports fields, children's play areas, walking paths, family seating areas, and green spaces, in addition to vehicle parking and restrooms, contributing to improving the visitor experience and enhancing quality of life. It emphasized that its operational plan includes continuous field monitoring, implementation of periodic maintenance work, and immediate handling of observations, ensuring the sustainability of facilities and raising the efficiency of municipal performance during the tourist season. It pointed to continuing the implementation of city humanization projects and improving the urban landscape, through developing municipal squares, sports fields and tracks, and preparing them to receive various groups, in addition to implementing future projects aimed at expanding sports and recreational facilities, keeping pace with the urban and tourism growth in the governorate. The municipality stated that it is working in coordination with relevant authorities to prepare the governorate to receive visitors during the summer season, benefiting from the natural features that distinguish Taif, and the diversity of its tourist destinations, events, resorts, and rural inns, in addition to supporting the participation of the private sector in developing tourism services and enhancing the attractiveness of the governorate as one of the most prominent summer destinations in the Kingdom. // End // 15:57 T M 0085
