Najran, Muharram 25, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 10, 2026, WAS - The corner of traditional costumes and clothing within the activities of the Heritage Tent in Najran Summer 2026, held in the vicinity of the historic Emirate Palace, attracted a number of locals and visitors, as one of the corners that highlight the cultural heritage and traditional identity of the region. The corner of the oldest tailor of traditional costumes in Najran, Ali bin Mohammed Al Abdullah (Ibn Sarwan), is among the most prominent corners of the event, as he has practiced the profession for over 65 years, presenting examples of traditional attire that still enjoys demand in national and social occasions. Ibn Sarwan explained that Najrani costumes represent part of the cultural identity of the region, noting the continued demand for acquiring heritage pieces, most notably al-Midhayil, al-Muzandah, and al-Mizr, along with traditional women's costumes such as al-Mukammam and al-Mu'dad, due to their historical and heritage value.
