With Participation of 23 Trainees, Acting and Directing Workshop Concludes in Dammam
The Theater and Performing Arts Commission concluded today, Thursday, the Acting and Directing Workshop in Dammam, as part of the "From Idea to Stage" program in its fourth edition, with the participation of 23 male and female trainees, within the framework of the Commission's efforts to develop national competencies and enhance skills in the theater and performing arts sector.
The workshop was held from July 5 to 16 of this month, and included a training program that combined theoretical and practical aspects, contributing to the development of participants' skills in theatrical performance and enhancing their knowledge of the various elements of the theatrical process.
Developing Stage Presence
The workshop focused on developing stage presence, enhancing the ability to interact with the audience, developing physical and vocal expression tools, in addition to building theatrical character, analyzing texts and scenes, and exploring improvisation techniques and dealing with dramatic situations, contributing to qualifying more prepared practitioners for work in the fields of theater and performing arts.

The workshop also provided participants with opportunities to develop creative imagination and theatrical awareness, and acquire the necessary expressive tools to embody characters and build acting performance, through practical applications and exercises focused on stage presence, teamwork, and strengthening the relationship between actor, director, and audience.
