Eastern Province Municipality Begins Maintenance Work on King Fahd Road in Dammam
The Eastern Province Municipality announced the start of maintenance and upgrading works on King Fahd Road in the city of Dammam, on the section extending from the Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Road bridge to the Gulf Cooperation Council Road (Abu Hadriyah) bridge, as part of the municipality's programs aimed at developing infrastructure, improving the quality of the road network, and enhancing traffic safety. The municipality explained that the maintenance works come within the periodic plan implemented by the municipality to upgrade roads and maintain their operational readiness, contributing to improving service levels, enhancing road quality, and facilitating traffic flow on one of the main axes in Dammam. The municipality affirmed that it continues to implement road maintenance and rehabilitation projects and programs according to its operational plans, to enhance the efficiency of the road network, improve municipal services, and achieve urban development and quality of life goals. The Eastern Province Municipality called on motorists to comply with temporary traffic diversions, field instructions and guidelines, and to use alternative roads, especially during peak hours, to ensure the safety of road users and facilitate traffic flow until the maintenance works are completed.
