The medical team at Al Qunfudhah General Hospital, a member of the Makkah Al Mukarramah Health Cluster, succeeded in saving the life of a 33-year-old Bangladeshi resident after he suffered an electric shock and fell from a heavy loader (loader), resulting in multiple injuries, including a brain injury accompanied by cerebral hemorrhage, after providing specialized medical care that helped stabilize his condition and achieve full recovery.

The hospital stated that the patient arrived at the emergency department as an emergency transfer from Al Muzailif General Hospital, and was in a coma and on a ventilator. Immediately, the rapid response team led by intensive care doctors was summoned, and clinical and radiological examinations revealed multiple injuries, in addition to cerebral hemorrhage that did not require surgical intervention. The patient was admitted to the intensive care unit, with continued ventilator support, and an integrated treatment plan was developed to manage the brain injury, along with close monitoring of vital signs and organ functions, and implementation of necessary preventive measures to reduce complications, including infections and clots. The hospital added that, by the grace of God, and thanks to the rapid response and efficiency of the medical team, sedatives were gradually discontinued and the patient's level of consciousness was assessed, and necessary tests were performed in preparation for weaning him from the ventilator, and the attempts were successful, as the patient regained his ability to breathe normally. With the improvement and stabilization of his health condition, the patient was transferred from the intensive care unit to the ward to complete treatment and rehabilitation, with continued follow-up by the intensive care team until he recovered and left the hospital in good health and stable condition.
