Consultant and Professor of Cardiology and Arterial Catheterization at the College of Medicine, Dr. Khalid Al-Nemer, warned about the effect of both long and short sleep durations on increasing the risk of heart disease and brain strokes.

Dr. Khalid pointed out, via his account on platform X, that 'sleeping less than 6 hours or more than 9 hours increases the risk of heart and brain diseases.'

Al-Nemer noted that 'long sleep is more dangerous than short sleep health-wise, as it increases the risk of brain stroke by 65% higher than the effect of short sleep.'
