The Eastern Province Branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture organized a blood donation campaign for its employees in cooperation with King Fahd Specialist Hospital in Dammam.

Engineer Fahd bin Ahmed Al-Hamzi, Director General of the Eastern Province Branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, stated that this campaign comes as part of enhancing the branch's and its employees' role towards society, consistent with its humanitarian role and social responsibility in supporting hospitals and blood banks that are in dire need of many blood units, in addition to promoting and raising awareness of the importance of blood donation, spreading a culture of volunteerism, and transforming blood donation into a sustainable societal behavior reflecting solidarity and mutual support. For his part, Assistant Director General for Support and Empowerment Walid bin Khaled Al-Shuwairid praised the efforts of the branch's employees, adding, 'We are very proud of the great turnout that the campaign witnessed,' which demonstrates the strength of belonging to this nation and the desire to serve the local community, and is an indicator of social integration.

Engineer Al-Hamzi extended his sincere thanks to all who contributed to the success of this campaign, foremost among them the brothers at King Fahd Specialist Hospital in Dammam: Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Tukhis (Administrator), Ahmed bin Taher bin Mohammed Al-Hussein, Specialist Mohammed bin Hamed bin Abdulmohsen Hamada, Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Issa Al-Khamis, and Technician Reda bin Ali bin Mohammed Al-Hayyan.
