King Abdullah Medical Complex Concludes 'Teacher Occupational Health' Initiative
The Medical Rehabilitation Department at King Abdullah Medical Complex, one of the components of the Second Jeddah Health Cluster, concluded the 'Teacher Occupational Health' initiative, which was implemented over the academic year and targeted primary school teaching staff, as part of its efforts to enhance preventive health and support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 aimed at improving quality of life.
The initiative was implemented through an integrated, multidisciplinary field program that included awareness and practical sessions for preventive exercises, specialized consultations, and practical guidance in occupational health, in addition to providing supportive tools to beneficiaries, aiming to raise awareness of proper health practices and prevent problems associated with the educational work environment.
The initiative yielded qualitative results, achieving a 100% satisfaction rate, 98% knowledge gain, and 95% behavioral intention to apply health practices, reflecting the program's effectiveness in promoting health awareness and creating a positive impact on beneficiaries, thereby contributing to the readiness of teaching staff for the upcoming academic year.
