When does dizziness warn of heart disease?.. "Al-Nemer" identifies five dangerous signs
Consultant cardiologist and arterial catheterization specialist Dr. Khalid Al-Nemer explained that dizziness is a common complaint often misinterpreted, as many attribute it to the heart while its most common source is the inner ear or nerves and brain.
Dr. Al-Nemer confirmed that dizziness requires immediate cardiac evaluation when accompanied by one or more of the following symptoms:
• Chest pain
• Heart palpitations
• Shortness of breath
• Sudden fainting
• Cold sweat
He warned that combining dizziness with any of these signs may indicate a heart rhythm disorder or lack of perfusion, making immediate emergency attendance necessary without delay.
