"Bernies" for Media and Public Relations received Dr. Sama Al-Hashimi, Head of the Department of Media, Tourism and Arts at the University of Bahrain, in a visit aimed at reviewing the progress of the training program implemented by the company for media students, and discussing ways to enhance cooperation and partnership between the two sides, with a focus on developing field training and qualifying media competencies to meet labor market requirements.

The visit included a tour of the company, during which Dr. Al-Hashimi learned about the nature of the training program and the mechanism of involving trainees in the work environment, as well as following up on the work and projects they participate in implementing within various fields of corporate communication, public relations, content creation, and digital media, enabling them to gain practical experience that enhances the academic side.

"Bernies" affirmed, during a meeting that brought together its CEO Mohammed Al-Hammoud with Dr. Al-Hashimi, its commitment to enhancing partnerships with academic institutions, where prospects for cooperation between the two sides were discussed, as well as ways to develop field training programs and joint initiatives, contributing to enriching the educational experience of students, enhancing integration between academic education and practical application, and preparing qualified media cadres capable of keeping pace with sector developments.

The CEO of "Bernies", Mohammed Al-Hammoud, said: "We believe that building effective partnerships with universities and academic institutions is a fundamental pillar in preparing media competencies, by providing training and professional environments that allow students to apply their academic knowledge and gain direct practical experience. From this standpoint, we at Bernies Media are keen to contribute to enriching the educational experience, transferring professional expertise, and enabling students to develop their skills, enhancing their readiness to enter the labor market."

Al-Hammoud added that the company views cooperation with educational institutions as an investment in national competencies, stemming from its responsibility to support the next generation of media professionals, through training programs and their role in transferring professional expertise, and providing students with the opportunity to participate in real media projects that give them a comprehensive practical experience.

This step comes within the framework of ongoing cooperation between "Bernies" and the University of Bahrain, and the keenness of both sides to strengthen the partnership between the academic sector and the private sector, contributing to supporting field training programs, improving the outcomes of media education, and enhancing the readiness of graduates to meet the needs of the labor market.
