Public Speaking: From Stage Fright to Crafting Presence

A training session titled 'Public Speaking: Its Secrets and Benefits' was held at the Library of Madinati Al-Mughrazat, in cooperation with 12 Senses, presented by trainer Ali Al-Asiri, with the attendance of (36) male and female trainees, as part of knowledge and training programs aimed at developing communication skills and enhancing confidence in facing the public.

The session addressed the importance of public speaking as a fundamental skill in professional and social life, and one of the tools of influence and presence crafting, emphasizing that the ability to express clearly is not only related to voice, but is based on organized ideas, confidence, and conscious interaction with the audience.

During the session, Al-Asiri reviewed a number of secrets that make speaking in front of people easier than the trainee imagines, including good preparation, organizing ideas, starting with an appropriate opening, in addition to employing body language and tone of voice to serve the message to be conveyed.

The session also touched on techniques to reduce the tension and fear associated with public speaking, explaining that initial confusion is normal and can be dealt with through training, preparation exercises, breaking the barrier with the audience, and turning anxiety into positive energy that supports the speaker instead of hindering them.

The program witnessed practical applications and interaction from the attendees, as emphasis was placed on the importance of moving from reception to practice, through recall, writing, and scientific response, to help trainees consolidate the skill and turn it into real performance that can be developed.
