In this article, the writer discusses his personal experience with success and self-investment, a topic that preoccupies many in a world full of distractions.
Perhaps the most important thing I have learned recently is that success is not born of chance, nor does it come to those who merely talk about it. It begins when you decide to invest in yourself, not in the ambitions of others, for there is a vast difference between those who spend years planning and executing and those who spend them recounting projects that never saw the light.
At the beginning of the journey, I thought that supporting everyone was a form of loyalty, so I willingly gave my time and effort. But days revealed that some people do not want a partner in success, but rather someone who drains their time and energy.
I used to invest in their ideas more than I invested in my own, and encourage them more than I encouraged myself. Yet I thank God that, despite everything I went through, I never forgot my own project or dreams; rather, I continued working on them in silence. This does not mean we should abandon helping others, but there is a difference between support and building others' dreams while forgetting your own. True success begins when you ask yourself a simple question: What do I want? Not what do people want from me? I have encountered people who talk about one project for years and are still in the same place. Much talk and endless plans, but when you ask them about a new opportunity or a different idea, you find the answer surrounded by excuses, or what is called 'cliques,' as if success only comes through closed doors. That day I realized that much of what is said is not truth, but personal experiences that should not become laws for others to live by. Since I started working in journalism while simultaneously pursuing my own writing experience, I made a decision not to let others' opinions determine my path. I believed in myself, and I knew well what I wanted. Perhaps for this reason I have always been inclined to write about human aspects, because they are closest to my heart, and because the human is the real story behind every success. Write your dreams, make a plan, and start even with a small step. Do not distract yourself among dozens of projects, and do not let the noise around you steal your focus. Achievement does not need an applauding audience; it needs persistence and discipline. You may arrive late, and you may stumble more than once, but you will reach if you remain confident in yourself, work in silence, and make self-development your first project. In the end, the only investment that will never let you down is investment in yourself. * From the window: Not everyone who walks with you will lead you to success, but when you invest in yourself, you will be the path... and you will be the arrival.
Success Investment Loyalty Projects Dreams Achievement Discipline Development
The article points to the importance of focusing on oneself away from the noise of others, which aligns with psychology studies affirming that setting personal goals is the key to achievement. The writer also warns against preoccupying oneself with others' dreams at the expense of oneself, which may lead to frustration. He calls for working in silence and discipline, which are core values in a productive work culture. The question remains: How can an individual balance supporting others and investing time in oneself?
