The Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve Development Authority recorded the participation of 11,400 beehives until July 9, 2026, during the Talh and Sidr seasons, as part of its efforts to regulate beekeeping activities and enhance sustainable utilization of natural resources within the reserve.

The Sidr season recorded 3,300 beehives benefiting 55 beekeepers.

The Authority explained that the Talh season saw the participation of 8,000 beehives benefiting 99 beekeepers, while the Sidr season recorded 3,300 beehives benefiting 55 beekeepers, reflecting the increasing demand for organized seasons according to regulations that contribute to environmental sustainability.

The Authority also highlighted the participation of a woman in the Talh season, a step that underscores its commitment to empowering the local community and providing opportunities for all segments to participate in economic activities related to natural resources.

The Authority affirmed that organizing the Talh and Sidr seasons supports efforts to protect plant diversity and develop the beekeeping sector and natural honey production, contributing to local community development and achieving a sustainable balance between investing in natural resources and conserving them.
