"Noura's Houses for Educational Expertise" at the College of Education and Human Development at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University has provided training and consulting programs to more than 1,400 beneficiaries, aiming to empower graduates in the job market in alignment with Vision 2030.

The services provided during the past academic year included a package of specialized courses across its three houses. These qualification activities targeted teaching and administrative staff, female students, and those interested in professional development in various educational and developmental fields.

An Integrated Research Environment

Academic efforts included the evaluation of 15 research tools designated for female graduate students in the college. Forty-nine female academic staff members participated in the evaluation processes, reflecting the diversity of services and the support for the research and consulting environment.

Within the framework of empowering graduates, the college organized the fifth edition of the "Career Qualification Week" program directed at graduates and prospective graduates of the College of Education and Human Development. The program contributed to qualifying nearly 100 graduates by equipping them with job market skills and facilitating communication with employer representatives for recruitment.

Events and Workshops

The career week events included training workshops on preparing CVs and passing job interviews. The workshops also focused on providing participants with the ability to efficiently handle approved employment and training platforms. In terms of specialized house activities, the "Consulting and Professional Development House" delivered a workshop titled "High-Impact Teaching Strategies." The workshop reviewed an introduction to modern teaching strategies and their application in university disciplines, in addition to assessment mechanisms, feedback, and associated challenges.

Fashion Design and Artificial Intelligence

Meanwhile, the "Talents House" executed a training workshop titled "The Art of Fashion Design" to develop creative skills. The workshop covered design basics, drawing inspiration, building a creative identity, fashion sketching, color theory, and selecting fabrics and materials. Conversely, the "Digital House" organized a specialized workshop titled "Big Data and Deep Learning" to keep pace with technological advancement. The workshop addressed concepts of data collection and management, an introduction to artificial intelligence and machine learning, and the basics of deep learning, its applications, and the techniques used. These comprehensive initiatives come within the framework of "Noura's Houses" keenness to contribute to the strategic plan of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. The university aims to invest academic expertise in serving human development and empowering graduates, thereby raising the efficiency of training and research performance in line with the objectives of Vision 2030.
