By the grace of God, a specialized medical team in urology surgery at King Abdullah Medical Complex, part of the Second Jeddah Health Cluster, succeeded in saving the life of a 27-year-old young man who suffered a fall from a height of 8 meters, resulting in severe injuries that posed an immediate threat to his life.

Upon the patient's arrival at the emergency and accident department of the complex, the critical injury management protocol was activated, his condition was immediately assessed, and all necessary precise medical examinations were conducted, which revealed a complete rupture of the right kidney, severe injuries to the renal artery and vein, and an injury to one of the major abdominal veins, leading to severe internal bleeding requiring immediate surgical intervention to save his life.

The head of the Urology Surgery Department, Dr. Badr Saadawi, led an integrated medical team that performed a precise and urgent surgical procedure lasting 80 minutes, with the participation of Urology Surgery Consultant Dr. Ihab Abdel Moneim, Vascular Surgery Consultant Dr. Hossam Hawam, along with specialized anesthesia and nursing teams.

The medical team successfully, praise be to God, achieved complete control of the internal bleeding, repaired the damaged blood vessels, and removed the completely ruptured kidney, culminating in full success, which contributed to saving the patient's life and stabilizing his health condition without any notable complications. He is currently receiving the necessary medical care according to an integrated treatment plan to ensure his full recovery and discharge from the hospital in good health.
