Riyadh, Muharram 29, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 14, 2026, SPA — The Saudi Media Forum launched the fourth edition of the 'Media Ambassadors' initiative, in the presence of the forum's chairman, Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harithi, with the participation of 33 ambassadors representing 16 Saudi universities. This is part of the forum's efforts to attract and qualify young national talents, empower them to contribute to shaping the future of media, and enhance the Kingdom's presence in the regional and international media landscape. The fourth edition of the initiative witnessed its largest expansion since its inception, after selecting 33 ambassadors from among more than 1,500 applicants from various regions of the Kingdom, bringing the total beneficiaries of the initiative since its launch to 79 ambassadors. This step reflects the growing demand for the initiative and its expanding impact in discovering and qualifying young media talents. The chairman of the Saudi Media Forum, Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harithi, affirmed that the 'Media Ambassadors' initiative represents one of the strategic projects that the forum continues to develop, based on its belief that investment in national talents is the cornerstone for building a Saudi media capable of keeping pace with global changes and shaping the future of the sector. He said: 'We are proud of the growing impact achieved by the Media Ambassadors initiative since its launch, and the promising national models it has produced that have proven their presence and excellence in various media fields. We believe that investment in national talents is the real investment in the future of media, and therefore we continue to develop the initiative to be a platform for creating young media leaders and enabling them to effectively contribute to conveying the Kingdom's story to the world.' The fourth edition comes with a more comprehensive vision, by expanding the scope of participation to students from various academic disciplines, based on the forum's conviction that the media industry relies on diversity of experiences and integration of skills, which contributes to preparing national cadres capable of keeping pace with rapid transformations in the media sector. The initiative provides participants with an integrated training and qualification program that combines theoretical and practical aspects, and includes specialized workshops, field experiences, and opportunities to interact with an elite group of leaders and experts in the media sector, to enhance their professional skills, expand their network, and increase their readiness to enter the media job market. The 'Media Ambassadors' initiative aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in developing human capital, empowering youth, and enhancing the competitiveness of the media sector, by preparing a generation of national talents capable of leading the future of media and consolidating the Kingdom's presence as a regional and global center for media industry and innovation. // End // 23:23 T M 0226
