The Saudi Media Forum launched the fourth edition of the "Media Ambassadors" initiative, in the presence of Forum Chairman Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthi, and with the participation of 33 male and female ambassadors representing 16 Saudi universities, in the capital Riyadh.

The forum explained that the initiative is part of its efforts to attract and qualify young national talents, empower them to contribute to the future of media, and enhance the Kingdom's presence in the regional and international scenes.

The forum pointed out that the fourth edition saw the largest expansion since the initiative's launch, as 33 male and female ambassadors were selected from among more than 1,500 applicants from various regions of the Kingdom, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to 79 ambassadors since the initiative's launch.

Integrated Training and Qualification Program

The forum added that the initiative provides participants with a training and qualification program that combines theoretical and practical aspects, including specialized workshops, field experiences, and opportunities to interact with media sector experts, thereby enhancing their professional skills and increasing their readiness for the labor market.

For his part, Forum Chairman Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthi affirmed that the initiative represents one of the strategic projects that the forum continues to develop, based on the belief that investing in national talents is the foundation for building a Saudi media capable of keeping pace with global changes.

In line with Saudi Vision 2030

In the same context, the forum emphasized that the initiative comes with a more comprehensive vision by expanding participation to students from various academic disciplines, aiming to prepare national cadres capable of keeping pace with the rapid transformations in the media sector.

It is worth noting that the "Media Ambassadors" initiative aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in developing human capital, empowering youth, and enhancing the competitiveness of the media sector, by preparing a generation of national talents capable of leading the future of media and consolidating the Kingdom's presence regionally and internationally.
