Abha International Airport, which is part of the second airport cluster, has achieved a new global milestone in its category, securing first place internationally in the most on-time airports category for June 2026, with an on-time performance rate of 93.84%, according to the monthly report from CIRIUM, a global specialist in aviation analytics and operational performance.

This progress reflects the level of development the airport is witnessing in operational efficiency and the enhancement of services provided to passengers, aligning with the targets of the aviation program and strengthening its position as one of the key hub airports supporting the rapid tourism growth in the Asir region.
