In its twenty-second year, the Al Jumaih Award for Scientific Excellence and Quran Memorization continues its journey that began more than two decades ago—a journey built not only on celebrating achievement but on the deep belief that knowledge and the Quran are the two wings of humanity toward a dignified life and a society that rises through knowledge and values together.

This award has never been merely an annual event; it has become a bright memory in the lives of thousands of male and female students who found in it a hand patting their shoulders, saying to them: Your efforts deserve to be seen, celebrated, and given a path forward.

Over its long years, the award has created a unique human experience where the student feels that his effort is not an individual matter but a value shared by the entire community. When the outstanding student stands on the stage, he does not celebrate only himself but his school, his family, his teachers, and everyone who believed that knowledge is the finest investment in a person. As for the memorizers of the Book of God, they are the brightest face of the award; it gathers them at the table of light and gives them the feeling that the Quran is not only preserved in their hearts but in the hearts of people through the appreciation shown to them.

With the growing impact of the award and the increasing number of participants and beneficiaries, it has become natural for the educational and community family to look forward to an important step: establishing a dedicated building for the General Secretariat of the award, which would be a landmark of the city equipped with all modern technologies. Having an independent headquarters is not only an organizational requirement but a symbolic extension of the journey of giving that began many years ago. It would be a center radiating care for knowledge and the Holy Quran, contributing to enhancing the award's presence and sustainability, and giving it the capacity to expand into new initiatives that serve students and the community.

One cannot speak of this award without standing in deep appreciation before the names that forged its beginning, established its spirit, and laid its foundation stone. May God have mercy on Sheikh Mohammed Al-Abdullah Al-Jumaih, and may God have mercy on the sheikhs Mohammed, Abdul Rahman, and Hamad Al-Abdulaziz Al-Jumaih, who responded - may God have mercy on them - to a written proposal by Mr. Ahmed Al-Buwardi to establish it, and believed that goodness is not complete until it reaches people, and that when knowledge is honored, it yields generations that build the nation. They have passed away in body, but their impact remains in every student who proudly raises his certificate, and in every memorizer who recites God's verses with a voice that fills hearts with tranquility.
