AlUla Summer Fruits Season Launches as Part of 'Khairat AlUla' Seasons
The 'AlUla Summer Fruits Season' launches as part of the 'Khairat AlUla' seasons from July 16 to 22, 2026, at Al-Manshiyah Farmers' Market, aiming to highlight the diversity of agricultural products in AlUla, empower farmers and productive families, and enhance economic opportunities related to seasonal crops.
The season features the display of AlUla farms' summer fruit production, with farmers offering a variety of crops including figs, grapes, mangoes, and pomegranates, while the annual production volume of summer fruits in the governorate exceeds 4,900 tons, reflecting the quality of crops and inherited agricultural expertise that characterize AlUla's farmers.
AlUla has over 7,000 farms, with more than 5,000 farmers working to sustain agricultural production and transmit knowledge and expertise across generations, in addition to over 216,000 summer fruit trees, which form a pillar of the diversity of agricultural production in the governorate.
Al-Manshiyah Market provides farmers with a direct platform to connect with AlUla residents and visitors, contributing to the promotion of local products, increasing the economic value of seasonal crops, and supporting the sustainability of farms and productive families.
The season introduces visitors to the diversity of agricultural crops in AlUla oasis and their representation of the extension of its agricultural heritage and cultural identity, while also offering an experience that reflects the connection between agriculture, place, and people in AlUla.
The season is part of the 'Khairat AlUla' seasons, organized by the Royal Commission for AlUla Governorate, within its programs aimed at empowering farmers, stimulating agricultural production, and enhancing the economic value of local crops, thereby supporting the sustainability of the agricultural sector in the governorate.
