The Arfaj plant belongs to the Asteraceae family, and is a shrub widely spread in the Al-Khunfah and Al-Tubaiq areas within the reserve. It reaches a height of 70 centimeters, characterized by woody stems with complex branching, basal lanceolate leaves, in addition to small, spaced upper leaves, and its flowers add a distinctive aesthetic appearance to the reserve's landscape.
