Arrival of the First Group of Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Umrah in Medina
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in the Kingdom received the first batches of the program of the Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz for Umrah and Visit, which includes 250 pilgrims.
This batch arrived from 16 Asian countries, including Indonesia, East Timor, Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Singapore, China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Mongolia, to Medina.
The acting Secretary-General of the program for Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Umrah and Visit, Ali bin Abdullah Al-Zughaibi, along with a number of officials, received the pilgrims. Their arrival procedures were completed smoothly, and they were transferred to their accommodation in a hotel adjacent to the Prophet's Mosque, where all necessary services were provided to ensure their comfort from the moment they arrived.
The ministry stated that the working committees have prepared a comprehensive cultural and religious program for the pilgrims. This program includes meetings, tours, and visits aimed at enhancing their faith and cultural experience, thereby enriching their spiritual journey in the Kingdom.
For their part, the pilgrims expressed their gratitude to the wise leadership of the Kingdom for this generous hospitality that enabled them to perform the Umrah rituals and visit the Prophet's Mosque. They praised the great efforts made by the Kingdom in serving Islam and Muslims and caring for the pilgrims.
