The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has completed all preparations to receive the first batch of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Umrah and Visit for the year 1448 AH, who are scheduled to arrive in Medina next Wednesday, before moving to Mecca to perform Umrah rituals, following the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him - to host (1,000) male and female pilgrims at his own expense, who will be hosted in four groups throughout the year.

The first batch of the program, implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, includes (250) male and female pilgrims representing (16) Asian countries: Indonesia, East Timor, Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Singapore, China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Mongolia.

The ministry has prepared a diverse program for the guests during their stay in Medina, including visits to a number of places, sites, and museums related to the Prophet's biography and Islamic civilization, before moving to Mecca to perform Umrah rituals.
