Friday/Saturday 17 July 2026 Nasser Al-Ajmi - Ra's Tanura: The Eastern Region Municipality, represented by the municipality of Ra's Tanura Governorate, has completed the installation of new decorative lighting poles in a number of streets and squares in the governorate, as part of its ongoing service and development efforts to improve infrastructure, enhance road and lighting efficiency, and strengthen elements of the urban landscape, contributing to improving the quality of life for residents and visitors. The Director General of the General Department of Media and Official Spokesperson of the Eastern Region Municipality, Mr. Faisal bin Saeed Al-Zahrani, explained that the development work included installing decorative lighting poles on King Saud bin Abdulaziz Street, the West Corniche Street, and part of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Street, in addition to implementing decorative lighting works at Al-Sariya Roundabout and King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Street Roundabout, as part of the municipality's plans aimed at raising the quality of public facilities and improving the visual identity of vital locations.
