A citizen and his sons produce 250,000 boxes of grapes annually from 30,000 trees in Al-Qassim
A citizen and his sons have recorded a new success story, defying the impossible by investing their passion for agriculture in planting 30,000 grapevines in Al-Qassim.
According to Al-Arabiya, the farm of Sami Al-Oufi produces 250,000 boxes annually and is now 38 years old.
Al-Oufi recounted the story of the farm, saying: It was the first farm in Al-Qassim, where my father moved to it and we started growing Hejazi grapes until we reached the production of more than nine types of grapes.
He continued: Planting begins on March 5 and production starts from June 15 to October 15, then the farm enters a dormant phase, pointing out that the most prominent types established in the market include: Hejazi, American, Banati, Tabuki, Halwani, and Magic Fingers grapes.
