Saudi Cabinet Stresses Support for Yemen and Protection of Kingdom's Security
The Saudi Cabinet, during its session chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz in Jeddah yesterday, stressed the Kingdom's continued support for Yemen and its legitimate government, and its taking firm measures to protect its security and ships in line with international laws.
The Council expressed Saudi Arabia's strongest condemnation of the false claims of the terrorist Houthi militia and its baseless accusations, and its involvement in a conflict in the region to support its sinister agenda and goals, which has contributed to deepening the suffering of the Yemeni people and threatening regional security and stability.
Dr. Mutlaq Al-Mutairi, professor of political media at King Saud University, told Asharq Al-Awsat that the Houthi militia has tried to interpret economic crises and the people's suffering by blaming external parties, and promoting an alleged blockade that defies reality, through inciting statements and false slogans, seeking to use the people of Yemen as fuel for absurd wars and drag them into reckless adventures that only serve the Iranian project.
