General / Ministry of Interior in Cooperation with Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development Implements Issuance and Renewal of Residency Permits for Domestic Workers and Similar Categories for Periods Starting from Three Months

Riyadh, Safar 05, 1448 AH corresponding to July 19, 2026 SPA - The Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Passports, in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, represented by the Unified National Platform for Recruitment "Musaned", has begun issuing and renewing residency permits for domestic workers and similar categories for periods starting from (3) months, allowing employers to pay the residency fees for each issuance or renewal period on a quarterly basis. The decision grants employers the ability to split the fees for the selected period only when issuing or renewing the residency permit for (3) months or multiples thereof, providing greater flexibility in managing their obligations and meeting the needs of various beneficiary segments. This approach reflects the continued development of services related to residency permits to enhance procedural efficiency and the quality of services provided, and to offer more flexible solutions that suit the needs of employers and domestic workers, as part of the digital transformation journey and improving the beneficiary experience. // End // 13:37 T M 0067
