Environmental affairs specialist Dr. Farhan Al-Juaidi confirmed the rise in environmental awareness in the Kingdom.

Al-Juaidi added, in an intervention on the program "Al-Rasid" broadcast on Al-Ikhbariya channel, that the curricula include dedicated lessons on environmental sciences, and universities have also begun focusing on the environment in their programs.

He continued that within these specialties there are experts who deliver the message that the state seeks students to acquire, and the results of that have begun with street cleanliness and belief in the idea of recycling waste within the context of the concept of 'responsible citizenship', which supports the state's efforts in environmental sustainability.

The Kingdom is establishing environmental awareness as a community culture, including systems and regulations related to the environment, and the role of the Special Forces for Environmental Security in implementing the system and the awareness carried out by all competent authorities in order to reduce and prevent harmful environmental violations.
