Social / Qassim Region Governor Receives Annual Report of 'Badayel' Association for the Rehabilitation of Juveniles and Delinquents

Buraidah, Safar 02, 1448 AH corresponding to July 16, 2026, SPA – His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, received at his office in the Emirate today the Director General of the Branch of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in the Region, Abdullah Al-Subaie, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of 'Badayel' Association for the Rehabilitation of Juveniles and Delinquents in the Region, Mohammed Al-Ghadhaya, accompanied by a number of board members. During the meeting, His Highness received the association's annual report and reviewed its key activities and programs in the fields of psychological, behavioral, educational and vocational rehabilitation, as well as its preventive and social initiatives that help beneficiaries regain balance and positively integrate into society. The report indicated that the association's services reached 10,078 male and female beneficiaries. His Highness also reviewed the association's vision of building a safe and cohesive society and providing real opportunities for beneficiaries to start anew through specialized rehabilitation, empowerment and sustainable reform. The report covered the association's objectives of instilling values and discipline, implementing psychological and behavioral programs that enhance emotional balance and decision-making skills, raising preventive awareness about the dangers of drugs, cybercrimes and high-risk behaviors, in addition to supporting education and professional empowerment, and preparing beneficiaries for a productive life. The Governor of Qassim Region affirmed that caring for juveniles and delinquents and rehabilitating them is a humanitarian and developmental responsibility that requires integrated efforts between government agencies and the non-profit sector, contributing to addressing the causes of deviance and building reform paths that restore beneficiaries' confidence and ability to integrate and contribute positively to society. His Highness praised the specialized programs offered by 'Badayel' Association, stressing the importance of measuring their impact, expanding partnerships, and strengthening preventive and rehabilitative initiatives that protect society, support family stability, and contribute to improving quality of life.
