Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed Al Jaber affirmed that the Houthi militia has turned Yemen into a pawn in the hands of external parties at the expense of Yemen's security and stability, and the suffering of its people who are oppressed, starved, and subjected to ongoing violations in areas under the militia's control.

Al Jaber stressed, via his account on platform X today, Saturday, that the Houthis continue to promote false claims and attempt to export their crises and failures abroad to evade responsibility for the humanitarian tragedy they have caused.

Support for the Yemeni People

The Saudi ambassador said that Saudi Arabia will continue to support the Yemeni people and back all initiatives aimed at opening Sana'a airport for commercial flights, ensuring Yemenis can travel, after "the Houthis prevented flights from it under flimsy pretexts."
