The Kingdom won a major award and five certificates of excellence at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Forum, organized by the International Telecommunication Union in partnership with several UN organizations, currently being held in Geneva, Switzerland, after competing against projects from more than 194 countries.

The Kingdom, represented by Qassim University, won the major award in the field of digital education for the educational platform 'Qspark', a platform that employs artificial intelligence technologies to provide an adaptive and interactive learning experience, offering personalized educational paths for students, and allowing faculty members to monitor performance and improve educational content through smart analytics.

The Kingdom also obtained five certificates of excellence for the Open Data Platform project and the National Artificial Intelligence Index project, submitted by the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence (SDAIA), in addition to the 'Ajeer' platform project and the Smart Model for Labor Market Monitoring project, submitted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, along with the Artificial Intelligence and Data Dictionary project submitted by the International Center for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE).

This achievement reflects the level of progress witnessed by digital transformation projects and artificial intelligence applications in the Kingdom, particularly in the fields of education, open data, and the labor market.

This recognition comes as part of the Kingdom's participation in the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Forum, which is one of the most prominent international forums specializing in communications and information technology.
