Al-Ahsa Municipality, represented by the General Administration for Monitoring and Compliance, intensified its regulatory and field efforts during the first half of 2026, as part of its plans to enhance compliance with municipal and health requirements and raise the level of safety of products and services provided to consumers.

The municipality explained that its inspection teams carried out 73,221 field visits, covering 29,134 health and commercial establishments in the province's cities and towns, to verify compliance with municipal regulations and laws, and monitor the application of health requirements and safety and quality standards.

Violations were detected and unfit products were destroyed.

In the same context, the municipality indicated that the tours resulted in the detection of a number of various violations, which were handled according to approved regulatory procedures, and the necessary measures were taken to rectify the conditions of violating establishments.

The municipality added that 17 intensive joint field campaigns were carried out targeting activities directly related to consumer health and safety, as well as sites and establishments requiring continuous regulatory follow-up. These campaigns resulted in the destruction of 21,396 kilograms and 2,002 liters of materials and products unfit for consumption or violating health requirements.

Call for compliance and communication with beneficiaries.

For its part, Al-Ahsa Municipality called on establishment owners and workers to comply with municipal and health requirements and regulations, and to address observations promptly, while emphasizing the continuation of inspection tours on various activities and the application of regulatory procedures against violators.
